A Creative Spin on Little Red Riding Hood
A gorgeous retelling of Little Red Riding Hood,
using silhouettes and plenty of horror
This is Red, a phenomenally atmospheric take on Little Red Riding Hood from directors Jorge Jaramillo and Carlo Guillotand composer Manuel Borda. In this five-minute animation — which seeks to “explore more thoroughly the drama, horror and realism of the story” — we learn how the fairy tale‘s protagonist earned her namesake. Hats off to the creative team.
